what would be a unique gift for someone who lost a loved one?

April 11, 2010 | In: Sympathy Gifts

in my class, my teacher thought it’d be nice if we all gave this one kid something for his family, because they lost a very close person.

we didn’t want to stick with a sympathy card, because that’s so common.

what would be some good, unique ideas for 22 students to do for his family?

thank you.
lol, by the way, this has nothing to do with passover. i’m obviously talking about something passing away.

So, why post in Passover?

How about a photo of the deceased at a really happy moment, possibly with other members of this family?

Or a donation to a charity that either represents what took this person, or something that was close to his/her heart. Always an appropriate gift.

I’m confused as to why this is in Passover, but if they’re Jewish, do not send flowers or a sympathy card, it’s not appropriate to their observances regarding death.
