What kind of christmas gift does a patient buy their doctor thats around $25?

January 18, 2010 | In: Christmas Gifts

I have had some medical issues and my doctor has been so supportive and patient with me through the entire process. Since Christmas is coming up I would really like to get him a gift to show him my appreciation. I am trying to keep the gift around 25 dollars. Has anyone ever bought their doctor a gift? I really need some ideas so if anyone has any please help me!

Nice box of chocolates and a card would do fine. Or a fruit basket.

I was going to say a fruit basket too. A plant or flower arrangement might also be nice – he could put it in the office somewhere if he wants to.
A small painting is another idea.

a giftcard for 25 dollars is better than a present worth 25 dollars, try an American Express Gift card or get him a nice picturew to put up in his office, i got my dentist a framed picture of the leaning tower of pisa in black and white b/c he was italian and loved to travel

Holiday flowers (Poinsettia) for the doctor and the office staff. To avoid any conflict of interest, your doctor might not be able to accept a personal gift from a patient, but a gift to the office is always welcome.
