you shouldn’t need to buy them a gift….if you start now, that’s a whole life time of gifts you have to buy them to celebrate their anniversary.

But, offically the 1st year gift is “paper” so make them something out of paper

A night at a 5 star luxury hotel with coupons for a massage and champagne breakfast….
I wish you were my sister-in-law because my in laws never even gave wedding presents …let alone a one year anniversary present.

I would give them a gift certificate to a restaurant, there favorite place or even a new one in the area for them to try,

Something Paper…..I think a framed pic of them together (maybe an event they were at during their first year)….make it a special occassion.

I think a gift certificate to a photo shoot, so they can have some memorable pics and they are professional, or if they are buying a home something they could use.

Go buy some cheap candles and flowers, make them dinner, and set it up for them, that is if you have keys to their home and they aren’t going out. Set up a romantic evening for them and then leave. Or make them up a cute picnic basket, that is if they live in an area that is nice during the middle of the summer. You could make a little photo album or scrapbook for them.

Have an enlargement made of one of their photos from their wedding. Contact the photographer, he can help.
