I bought this title thinking it would give me some “new and improved” view into the practice of journaling. (I instruct the practice, so I have a large library of excellent resources.) Instead, I got something that looked like it had been “published” at Kinkos and was simply page after page of repetitive garbage. Must be one of those “self” published titles. Sad indeed.

A terrific tool for genealogists. I’ve been doing family research for over 15 years, and it’s always been frustrating to have lots of facts and dates about past generations – - but very little info about who they were, what they thought, and how they felt about any number of things. I am giving copies of this book to various people within my family tree, whether they be young new parents or senior citizens – - so they’ll now have the needed structure and prompting to tell future generations “who they were”. The once-a-year journaling idea is great – - who can’t do that ? Sue in Michigan

Clever concept, just received and like it very much. So did my daughter, so we give it an A+.

This is an awesome book!!! I am in my mid 30s now and I think I am going to make some good use of this journal.

I wish I had come across this about 10-15 years ago. Better late than never. I am looking forward to making my journal entry for this year!!!

I’m a father of two girls…when I find myself either disciplining or just having a conversation with them, I try to remember stories from my past that they’ll be able to relate to…

How I wish I had started this journal at a young age so I could better relate and recall detailed stories from my youth to share with my kids.

I’m getting them both started with this journal this year.

If they don’t thank me for the writing assignment now, they’ll thank me in the future. And hopefully they’ll even share some of their answers with me ;)
