With my first baby, I recieved several duplicates of things plus things that I already had. Don’t get me wrong, I am very appreciative of the thought that my family and friends put into getting my baby a gift. But with this baby and baby shower, I would like to be able to exchange things that I cannot use for things that we need. Last time, hardly anyone included reciepts so I ended up with a bunch of stuff that I ended up giving away or selling at a garage sale. I hate to just throw away a good gift that someone cared enough to give me when I could still use the money from it to go towards something else for the baby.

i got my second copyright strike. as a thank you gift to youtube, i made this video for them. (; aren’t I sweet? MY BACKUP: www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com RANT TIME! Okay, so who here remembers the days when copyright didn’t matter? we could use ANYTHING and nothing would happen to us. Like, I don’t mind ads on videos. I’m impatient but I can wait 15 seconds for an ad to pass. But getting YouTube users SUSPENDED for using a song/fandom that is supposedly ‘copyrighted’? Like, they should watch the video themselves, and decide whether we’re ACTUALLY violating any ‘terms’ or if we’re trying to sell it as our own. but editors like me and a bunch of others, we’re just innocently using songs and shows to edit a video! Like, we shouldn’t get fucking SUSPENDED for that!!! So, this is their payback for fucking suspending so many good editors who were just innocently editing a video with their favourite fandom/tv show. FUCK YOU YOUTUBE. we should all just send them a complaint about this. What Can I do About a Wedding Gift for Same-Sex Wedding Taking Place Out of Their Country?

I live in Ontario, and my friend is getting married to his boyfriend here in a few weeks. They live in England, though, and I’m not sure what to do about a wedding gift. Do I get them something FOR the wedding here? Or do I spare them the inconvenience of having to haul things overseas? And if so, HOW do I do that? My friend just lost her baby – she was a few months pregnant – and the service is this evening. Are you supposed to give them a gift? or just a sympathy card? I just got married so I’m kinda broke, but I want her to know I care and I’m sorry for what she’s going through.

Just visited “Oliver” for the last time. He is scheduled to be euthanized tomorrow. He has survived 18 long months of terrible cancerous tumors for a 14 year old retriever. I want to show my sympathy. What do you feel is most appropriate – a card? flowers? a memorial gift? being with the dear owner??? Thank you in advance for your compassion and empathy.
