Send sympathy flowers to funeral home or widow’s house?
March 23, 2010 | In: Sympathy Gifts
My fiancĂ©’s grandfather died today and I am unable to make the trip to be at the funeral. Out of respect for a wonderful man, I’d like to send flowers (or something deliverable) to his widow. Because I am close to the family, would it be proper to send the gift to their home they shared or to the funeral home?
Also, anything ideas for a more personal gift that I can send other than flowers?
Thanks so much.

Send them to her house along with a card. They may end up getting lost or she may not know who all the flowers were from at the funeral.
