This is a video of me making some home made chocolates as a Christmas gift for my Aunt and Uncle. The ingredients are: 2 x 375g bags dark chocolate melts 3 x 100g bags glacĂ© cherries sweet sherry 2 x 375g bags white chocolate melts 12 x large candy canes 1/2 lid peppermint essence Sorry about my arm getting in the way sometimes. I have a tiny kitchen and it is hard to find a place to put my camera. Also, the sun went down while I was filming so it gets dark at the end. I’ll have to work out how to get my camera to film well while I’m inside. Hope you like it!

Looks real yummy!
forget the mould…. cause that’s only an extra thing to clean anyway.
Besides, there’s something so much better about breaking the candy apart yourself. There doesn’t have to be any special design to it. That and it’s annoying as anything to get all the candy to fit into every nook and cranny of the darned things anyway.
ESPECIALLY if the chocolate mix hardens fast from all the cold cherries

a shorter video for this could have been done…a mould would have been better too. thanks for the post

its much more better if you could use a mold for the chocolates.

The peppermint turned out so much better. I think I’ll put something else with the dark chocolate next time.

Oh, the pepermint idea looks great!
I would make some kind of mint paste and mix that with the milk/dark chocolate, I love that combination.
