They request gift cards from places like Target and Home Depot. There party is just two paychecks away and I am only making $80-100 on each one. Where should I get the gift card from?

YOu don’t have to get tthem what they ask for….. You can buy a lovely vase or picture frame for 20 dollars and I’m sure the hosts would love it.

I recommend Target, because they have more things that are
low cost items like dishtowels and groceries and such, things
that everyone can use. a reasonable amount would be $20 for your budget.

You can spend as little as $5 and still give a nice gift. Little places like Hallmark would be a nice place to look.
Target would definitely be affordable, depending on how much you want to give. I think it’s personal preference. Housewarming gifts don’t have to be anything special or fancy. A small stepladder would be a practical gift, something they could actually use.
I usually see housewarming gifts as something the other person can use or decorate with. So anything goes.

How about giving then a coupon book that you can make with something you can do for them. Like maybe painting or yard work. Won’t cost you more than your time which is probably more valuable than anything you could buy at either place.

The dollar tree has some nice stuff and you cant even tell its $1. But a gift card is a good idea as they can buy what they want.
