We are throwing a surprise baby shower for a high school friend. We all don’t know the gender of the baby yet because the couple do not want to know in advance and want to be surprised when the baby comes. We all agreed to just get them a gift card so they can get what they really need. What is the acceptable price range nowadays?

Find out where she’s registered and look at the average gift price. Not the little tiny stuff and not the big pricey stuff…just something in the middle. If you don’t know where she’s registered, ask.

It all depends on your budget and where u get the card from. Some places have a higher minimum than others. Try going to a store where u can see things that u might get and that can help u with the amount u can give them. But a reasonable amount can be as little as $25.

Anywhere from $20 on up, depending on what you can afford. You’re not expected to break the bank over this…..after all, you are already throwing the shower, and have expenses for that as well.

$20.00 seems good to me because if a lot are contributing she’ll have enough to go on a small spree…Think of it this way: You always need some bucks for when the baby comes home and this and that is needed to make things comfortable for the small family!

Personally, I typically spend around $20 myself. Although, since I had my own child, I tend to do much more cuz I like helping out since I got so much and I’m very grateful for everything I received when I was pregnant. Or, you could also cut back a little on how much you spend now, and get another gift for after the baby is born when everyone knows if it’s a boy or girl.

$20 would be the least I would give and $100 would be the most. You really can’t go wrong with an amount if everyone is going to be giving gift cards. She will be able to use any amount you give.

It really depends on the person. Each person has a different budget so i would just go with what you are comfortable with. I would say most spend about 20.00. However it also depends on how well and how close you are to that person. For example if it is for your sister you may tend to spend more but if it is for your friends sister then you may tend to spend less. If you and everyone who is attending the party are tring to decide on one price for the group you may want to do 20.00 each that way no one has spent more than the other and everyone stays happy.

Minimum $20. It depends on how good of a friend it is. If you feel that it isn’t enough, buy a picture frame and put the gift card in the frame. You can NEVER have enough frames for pictures of your baby!

for family 20-30 dollars is good,if you not family an your going in on it then pick one gift they would real need an put all you money together so they can get it,or if you have extra money then go fo 50-100 dollars,it just depends on how much you have to spare for it.
