If a man is shallow, then yes, he wants a new game for his XBOX 360, or a new computer.

Men actually care far less than women do in regard to gifts on such occasions – a nice home cooked meal & a bottle of wine always goes down well.

I do. The price is not as important as the thought though.
Usually my wife will buy me a jumper or jeans, and will dress really sexy when we go to a restaurant, where nobody knows us.
If the venue is my choice, I will make sure somebody DOES know me, so they can see what a lucky bstard I have been for the past 17 years!

i really dont care about gifts. a nice night together works fine for me and if it ends with sex it was another successful year.
