hmm..yea i thought about returning the smashbox palette for like days and days!lol but in the end i ended up keeping both…only 2-3 colors from both palettes are actually similar and even then the textures and pigmentations are pretty diff so i decided to keep both..thanks for ur input tho:) much appreciated=)

lol…i totally kno what u mean! i had to buy the smashbox palette knowing that the kat vond d pallette has similar looking colors cuz i knew if i didn’t buy it i’d regret it n probably end up buying it later on anyway…n who know maybe it would be sold out by the time i come back to buy it since it’s a limited edition!lol anyhow, thx for understanding my dilemma!haha

the kat von d meento mori palette is lovely; most of the colors are very pigmented and velvety; the only color(s) i’m disappointed with is the lavender color called “solitude” n the deep purple/navy cream color called “true”; the rest i’m loving! i love kat von d palettes! this is my 4th one:)

i think that u shouldnt return the palette. i mea some colrs look the same but they are both unique in their own way, btw how do u like the cat von d palette cuz i just ordered it last night and i cant wait to get it hope this helps
