For not being a Blue Grass singer, dude does a heck of a good job. Love the song; expect he made his Grandpa happy that night.

@davemooreblues i actually don’t like clay that much. what i dislike is the use of the word fag. its no better than racial slurs. luckily only idiots use them.
you’re a disgusting excuse for a human being.

@davemooreblues fag? did he ask you on a date? did he ask you to have sex with him? did he hit on you? if not, what the hell does it matter to you what his personal preference is?
you’re an idiot. i like how you said ‘screw him’ at the end……. does this reveal the true nature of your own sexual desires? do you have a crush on clay? calling him a fag isn’t going to get him in bed with you, however much you truly wish to “screw him”

I wish Clay would sing more bluegrass. I think he does a great job on it – probably because he grew up hearing it.

It was announced on his Official Fan Club. The messageboard was still accessible if you had the link saved, but the rest of the site was shut down for a couple of days in honor of his memory.

I google Clay’s name every single day hoping for news. Had I not come here just for a Clay fix, I doubt I’d havelearned of his grandfather’s passing. Where do you guys get this kind of news? What am I not doing?

This is MUCH better than I thought it would be, as he really holds to the grass style of this tune. However, it falls far short of the likes of Ralph Stanley or Larry Sparks.
