Boyfriend said his birthday gift from me was missing?

So I gave him gift on his birthday (last month) and yesterday he told me he forgot where he put it. Well I don’t care though -_- but isn’t that just not appreciating? What would you feel and say if you were me? I was just smiling reacted to what he said.

Well, I will definitely feel upset but I wouldn’t jump into any conclusion just yet. Listen to his explanations. You should be able to tell whether he didn’t care too much about the gift or he just simply misplaced and feel really bad about it. If he didn’t care too much about it then maybe you can rip him a new as$hole well in a nice way
just to show him how badly he’s hurt you with his carelessness.

Speaking as a guy… yeah, I’d probably still say that’s not appreciating. I mean, he’s only human, and sometimes stuff happens… You can lose things no matter how much you care about them. If this is the first time something like this has happened, and he generally seems appreciative of you, I would give him the benefit of the doubt.

Honey, I lose things all the time. I left my birthday present from my best friend at her house (where she gave it to me) for three trips to her house, and I really liked the present. It’s not a huge deal, he’ll find it eventually.
