Birthday Gift For a Co-Worker, What do you think?

I have a co-worker who’s birthday is today, we are really cool with one another. She has a savvy way about her.
Anyway I did not know what to get her cause I no she is picky so I got her a gift certificate to Victoria’s Secret because she was just talking about buying undies from there, and I figure underwear is something someone can always use, and plus most people I know usually like the lotions from there so if not the undies she can get that. Would you appreciate this gift?

Absolutely…especially if I were about to make purchase there. To me, gift certificates are like free shoppping…it will enable her to buy even more or something else she probably had her eye on.

I would totally love this gift and it sound like you are being thoughtful and perceptive.
The only concern that I have is that underwear is rather personal and intimate and may be a little unnerving for a colleague. I am not familiar with Victoria’s Secret underwear so am not sure how sexy or sassy it is, but a gift certificate circumnavigates that and is a great way to go.
To make sure there is no misunderstanding, I would suggest an accompanying note of friendship, so that there is no ambiguity.
