Our budget is kinda tight right now. I’d like to keep it less than $50. They are wonderful friends, and I feel stumped. They like wine, dining out, and couple’s things. They do not have kids. I was thinking perhaps a gift certificate to Maggiano’s…but would rather give them something more tangible. I would love some ideas, thanks.

The traditional gift for a 7th wedding anniversary is something in wool or copper. Brass is a more modern version. In recent times, desk sets are the traditional gift. I’m sure any one of these things could fit within a $50 budget. This website has some ideas of things to purchase in these materials:

I would think the trip to New Zealand would be a little over the top, but many of the others could be easily affordable. Plus, there would be meaning behind your gift – not just a gift certificate (although, it would still be fine if you couldn’t come up with anything else…it’s really the thought that counts).
Good luck!
