She is as hard as a diamond and as soft as the black velvet that enhances the brilliance of the jewel. I minister to women on the web and I wrote a blog back in 2007. I have never told this story to Louis and Louis would not know the impact of what he was doing til after this night. It is however hidden into the folds of fragile memories and thoughts that often reveal themselves when everything is quiet. When I moved out of my home I came across a picture of me right before I met my x. I rubbed my youthful picture with the tip of my fingers. Tears came as I asked myself did I lose her? I hardly recognize her Lord. I prayed and I asked God to help me find her again. Better yet I pleaded with tears, “You God define her …define me!” From that point on I decorated my bedroom around that one picture. A young budding Ellie holding a yellow rose. My sister bought me a housewarming gift. She said it was not much … but Jesus wanted her to buy it for me. She pulled out a yellow rose. I grabbed her hand and walked her into my bedroom. She smiled and said Oh Ellie! Now I don’t pretend to know what you see when you look at this picture but there before me was a slender young budding girl with narrow shoulders.
